1st Vice President, Local 290 Transportation Workers Union of America, AFL-CIO
My career began and is current as a Customized Community Transportation (CCT) Dispatcher/Monitor in the Control Center in 2003. In 2011 I was elected and took on the responsibility as Section Officer within my department, later on in 2014 I was elected as Recording Secretary where I maintained that responsibility until April 2016. In April of 2016 I was elected to 1st Vice President of Local 290. I hold this title with great honor, dignity and respect as I am the first ever female to every be elected as Vice President of Local 290. My goal is to provide excellent representation for my fellow brothers and sisters and maintain a positive union.
